Lyrics
Find another songBattlefields are burning
And I'm found
All this broken clothing
Like leaves on the ground
I gave you compassion
We drifted light years across
How can you claim my love
And let me drown in your arms?
That's my enemy (Ah-ah)
Right there
Who I'll never leave (Ah-ah-ah)
You will know, you will know when
That's my enemy
Don't despair
I will never leave you
Look out for that
I nestle to a tight flame
In the dark
Living in your nightmares
Why do you keep me around?
Temptations are hereby suns that teach me dark ways of light
Soft wailing in my ears
Tells me your sound
That's my enemy (Ah-ah)
Right there
Who I'll never leave (Ah-ah-ah)
You will know, you will know when
My identity
Can't be squared
That's my enemy
You will know, you will know when
End of day, I'll be dancing
On your grave
Another double imposing
What did you want me to save?
I never held my tongue
And watched the crowds disappear
I can't bear to sink my luck into a cosmic affair
That's my enemy (Ah-ah)
Right there
Who I'll never leave (Ah-ah-ah)
You will know, you will know when
That's my enemy
Don't despair
I will never leave you
