Say it’d never happen to me Never give a fuck if we’re hollow Artificial pleasure and peace Numb away the pain and the sorrow No one cares to see we’re sickening Can’t face the pain, can’t make amends So we just all pretend All pretend Yeah we just all pretend All pretend Racing to escape Facing nothing so we all pretend All pretend Try to keep thе trauma discreet Fantasize a dream for tomorrow Watch a child starve as you feed Whorеd away the soul that we borrowed No one cares to see we’re sickening Can’t face the pain, can’t make amends So we just all pretend All pretend Yeah we just all pretend All pretend Racing to escape Facing nothing so we all pretend All pretend Point the blame to anyone Repeating this again and again Look away from the damage done Cause this is how it always begins So we just all pretend All pretend Yeah we just all pretend All pretend Racing to escape Facing nothing so we all pretend All pretend
