Lyrics
Find another songI've never had the guy on the lawn with a boombox
Don't know who love actually is
No crazy, stupid love and no sixteen candles
Still waitin' on that New Year's Eve kiss (Ooh)
'Cause all I've been is bruised
Broken down and used
The joke inside a pun (Ooh-ooh)
I pray for somethin' deep
To sweep me off my feet
But it still hasn't been done
'Cause I found the one a hundred times
Turns out they're all one in the same
They love the chase, it's all so fun
Until they all complete the game
I'm pickin' petals off of roses everyday
Put a little more stay, a little less gone
A little less pain, a little more rom-com
I ride the tube, I trip, I fall on a stranger (Stranger)
Hoping they will fall for me too
I call my friend's brothers and ask what they're doing (Doing)
To try and find something new (Ooh)
'Cause all I've been is bruised
Broken down and used
The joke inside a pun (Ooh-ooh)
I pray for somethin' deep
To sweep me off my feet
But it still hasn't been done
'Cause I found the one a hundred times
Turns out they're all one in the same
They love the chase, it's all so fun
Until they all complete the game
I'm pickin' petals off of roses everyday
Put a little more stay, a little less gone
A little less pain, a little more rom
Kill to be in it, just for a minute
To say that I did it
For love just like a rom-com
Kill to be in it, just for a minute
To say that I did it
For love just like a rom-com
I found the one a hundred times
Turns out they're all one in the same
They love the chase, it's all so fun
Until they all complete the game
I'm pickin' petals off of roses everyday
Put a little more stay, a little less gone
A little less pain, a little more rom-com
A little more stay, a little less gone
A little less pain, a little more rom-com
A little more rom-com
A little more rom-com
